PRAY Stage 4 cam with some other goodies...

What was supposed to be a few hours of install over a couple weekends at a friends shop turned into a much longer endeavor, but the car finally runs.

It's with my tuner for dyno tuning after a few maintenance items that a shop nearby took care of. Will have numbers and get it back tomorrow night.

Untuned idle vids below, this is with the NPP exhaust in "Touring" mods with the baffles closed, so Sport/Track will definitely LOUD AF - glad this isn't my DD ...

Dyno vids and graphs probably Monday night - Will get re-aligned next week and then I need to clean it up - the paint and interior are filthy from sitting so long.

After seeing these gains with Holley hi rams, I'm debating going that direction next but I just want to drive this thing for a while for now.

*edit* 552WHP AND 456 WTQ initially - some minor changes being made now - new dyno chart to follow

Setup:
Pray stage 4 NA cam 22x/23x
Stock heads milled .030
Flycut pistons
Thinner HGs
Pray Ported MSD intake mani
Pray Ported C7ZR1 TB
2in LT headers, 3in catless xpipe
Rotofab dry intake
Lower t-stat
Catch can
Some other stuff I'm forgetting

Nice!

I thought Prays stage 4 cam is 23x on the intake duration.

Perhaps I'm mis-naming it OR perhaps it had changed since I bought it. I got the cam over a year ago now

Seems pretty mild still judging how well it got going on the stock cal. Which is a good thing Compared to a ms4 back in the day

Curious on the results today - should have an update by about 6pm pacific time.

Already wondering if a hi ram will add power over the ported MSD and if so, what hoods fit over it.

Apples to oranges comparison in ECU technology.
-----------
Hi-ram will add power and extend rpm range without a doubt.

That being said Pray just finished up a customer's car that has his stage 2 22x daily driver cam with ported heads/msd combo. Went 10.0 @ 132 in 3k da with very little weight reduction. I believe drag pack and rear seat delete.

Congrats, Pray really knows his stuff on the NA platform. I'm seeing videos all the time of heads and cam LT1 Camaro's walking high horsepower cars.

To clarify, the video of the car on the lift was no cal at all. Other video was after some idle work (which is why it sounds a bit cleaner) but no WOT work and idle was not finished.

Vfn Sunoco will work and it’s 445. But you have to trim the rear of it underneath I heard someone mention on FB. Looks like a minor modification

Appreciate it sir!

Could probably buy the Hi ram, the hood and paint it for only a few bucks more than the ported MSD would sell for

NP

Might as well plan on like 300 bucks shipping though. I just got quoted 190 for shipping on a little trunk lid. I’m gonna make the 3 hour drive and pick it up in person. They are in Elmhurst Illinois

Also it’s a 4-5 week wait. Parts are made to order
