Dash rattle found! Now how to fix?

For the past 300 miles I've had a rattle somewhere on my dash. A bit upset because the car doesn't even have 1k miles! Well I finally found where it was.

On the gauge cluster there is the silver surrounding with a black piece above, and below. When I squeeze the silver piece from above and below with my fingers on the black pieces the rattle stops. See image below.

Now then how can I go about fixing it? Squeeze some glue under there? Get a foam piece and stuff it in there?

see if you can find a dash disassembly diagram and depending on how it goes together tighten a few screws. but it its just regular push in clips maybe a few tooth picks pushed it. foam will probably need you to take the dash apart to do it correctly.

Those silver pieces just pull out very easily. Pull them straight back towards yourself. Then you can at least have a look inside.

On my 17, it was coming from behind the radio screen. You pop off the plastic trim panel on the bottom edge and it exposes two little like 7mm bolts. I removed those, tilted the screen down and applied some foam strip behind the edges. Rattle gone!

if its broken clips or loose from the factory the dealer should replace. If its barely anything take it out, use some 3m felt tape anywhere the materials make contact to each other then put it back in. Itll be gone.
