So I'm saying that Mach 1 should look more like the Shelby and be priced more like a Mustang. I also think the markup on the flatplane could be have had. So maybe $49K Mach 1 that looks more like the Shelby with flatplane. For me looks sells more cars than any performance metrics (blasphemy), the Mach 1 pictured is just plan UGLY... so don't care about the performance at that point.

So for 2021 you have EcoBoost —> GT —> PP1 —> Mach I —> GT500. Pretty decent spread.
Is the a10 and a tremec 6 speed confirmed as far as trans options or just an ecucated guess?

I don't think the mach 1 will have flat plane crank. So far all the leaks and data suggest the bullit version of the gt 5.0 engine.

Is the Camaro just an insane bargain? Would a $62K GT350 seem more reasonable if the SS1LE didn't exist?

.
Yes lol. Remember when the GT350 came out going on almost 6 model years ago, it offered performance of the 75K Z/28. then GM came and just took everyones lunch money with the SS1LE which also offered that performance....except at a price of 44K lol

Ford's press release said it will have the 5.0

yeah it should have but does not have a flat plane crank
it should have been good looking but it is butt ugly
Add the two together and we get a marketing failure

Educated guess.

This one is beyond an educated guess. Ford has referred to it as the "best 5.0L track car...."

The track car part is why I am assuming PP2 + Cup 2 + coolers + Tremec.

Seems to be a few people over on the other site that believe the Mach 1 is also going to replace the PP2.

Yea I knew the 5.0 was confirmed but I don't think the output has been confirmed yet (to my knowledge, which isn't saying much lol), but some leaked 2021 spec sheets suggest it'll be the Bullit's 480hp vs the standard 5.0 GT 460hp.

GM isn't interested in the Camaro anymore.

I will believe it when I see it. I think it will probably be 495 or 500 even. To get 525 would be a pretty aggressive set up from the factory wouldn't it?

IMO, it would / should have a flateplane crank and better headers.
