“I think” the quality of the gas you run (i.e. Chevron over “cheaper” gas) MAY have an impact but I’m not convinced of that either. The more gas you give her the more soot it’s going to produce. |

The dual port system is the way to go for sure.

That is great elite. I cant put your CC on the back right, because I have my SC reservoir mounted there. When are those front brackets going to be available?

Absolutely agree, the black tailpipe soot is unavoidable. With a good CC however, the time until cleaning may be extended. Time will tell... Chris |

Why would it work better in the front than on the side?
Does the temp have so much effect on suction? Or vapor to liquid effect are poor inside the can when it’s hot? Mine is on the side and it works fine... 1 inch in a cup after 3000 miles, 1 inch in a cup after 60 min of track |

The only contact phone number I have is a personal cell phone and I won’t publish that here until I’ve heard back from the person I left a message with. Contact Elite Engineering if you need a faster response. Quote:

There is gas and water in the blowby - cooler is better to reduce vapor pressure of the nasties. Larger can with more residence time/bigger velocity drop helps too of course.
So why did they mount it there in the first place is the real question, the MM can has always been in front |

I chose a fender mount style on the Hellcat and it was more than twice the amount of hose, they said that style allowed for cooling of the vapor and was actually the better choice between the 2 mount styles.....don't know if that's true, but I bit on the sales pitch.....
