So I think I have figured out my rough/high idle when the car is cold.

I see that Cylinder 5,6, and 8 show misfire counts upon me starting the car before it warms up to temperature. After it warms up (about 1-2 minutes) car runs perfectly fine.

I have new plugs in, MSD wires, and heat sleeves on the wire.

Thinking about maybe trying to remove the heat sleeves off the wires and try to re-seat everything again.

Maybe after that, if it doesn't work and I still receive misfires will I see about checking the Fuel Injectors for those affected cylinders.

What do you guys think? Thoughts?

Swap the affected plug wires over to another cylinder and see if the misfire counts follow, if they dont you may have bad injectors.

Good idea, I'll keep that solution in my back pocket as well. Thanks brother!

Most likely the injectors. I had the same problem. Replaced the injectors and it's been running good.

Do you know the specific part number they used for your injectors?

Bumping this up.

I’ve always noticed a slightly rough idle on cold start since I bought it a month ago, 17000km on vehicle. This morning it threw the check engine code and I scanned it for a P050D. I cleared the code with a OBD scanner and light is off, but it still shows a hard, P050D code. If I bring it in for work, can the dealer still determine if an injector is failing despite me clearing the light? I’m sure the light will still return as it’s always run a bit rough on cold starts.
