Danged Weather!
I've had my new to me 1le in the garage going on two weeks and put a whole 125 miles on it besides the trip home...why? Danged rain!
I installed my GM CAI and could only start the engine in the garage so, I have no idea on how it sounds, etc. Danged weather! I also had my new tires installed and they are most definitely hazardous driving in the rain (had to test that coming back from the dealership). Danged rain. We have "tail of the dragon" type roads within 20 miles of me, but I have no clue about how well the 1le likes them. Danged weather! Not much relief in sight. Danged weather!

I'm with you. Bought my 19 1LE at the end of October, and it has a whopping 304 miles on it...all thanks to never-ending cycle of -30F+Snow to 60F+rain. Oh and a crap-ton of salt.

I feel your pain, brother. The weather is the only reason why I'm waiting to order my 2019 until next weekend. I figure 6-10 weeks for delivery, so that will put me sometime in April, when hopefully the weather is normal spring weather. I'm going to be bummed if I have to let her sit in the garage for weeks on end.

Someone on here said it best on another thread - it's not a Lamborghini - just drive it. I got my SS in mid January and already have 900 miles on it, and I live near Boston, MA. I threw snow tires on it (which incidentally helps me with the break in period, because it is hard to drive like a lunatic with snow tires). I am keeping it clean to the best of my ability, but enjoy the car and don't worry about it taking a little abuse.

I park my bike in the winter and my SS becomes my winter vehicle (with winter tires). In some ways, the winter tires are more fun. When they loose grip, the slide is more predictable than with summer tires. My winter tires are great in the rain, too. They channel the water way better than the summer tires. I've hit standing water at pretty high speed with no drama.

I am a little confused as to why you can't drive a Camaro in the rain. Just go slow.
