Install was super easy. Loosen intake hose clamp, disconnect connector to throttle body (clip is on the bottom portion of connector). Remove 4 bolts from the stock TB. Bottom bolt on drivers side is hard to get to. You'll need a small socket wrench extension. Remove stock throttle body, put ported one in using stock bolts. Re-attach everything. 10 minutes and you're done. I punched it going up an on ramp on the way to work today and the car does pull harder now. Love it.

Sounds and feels exactly like stock. No CELS so far. I can't really speak for the improvement in throttle response. I have a Vitesse throttle controller and it's set at 6. At that setting the throttle is quite responsive already. You're welcome brother, any time.

That's awesome. Keep us updated. 5th Gen V8 owners raved about them. I believe he had a different ones. A stage 1 and 2. This will be interesting.

Most places (VMax, WeaponX, etc.) will send you the ported TB then you have to return your stock core after swapping them. Katech sells only brand new modified units to avoid having to mess with cores. Some places don't stock cores so they need you to provide one (Bo White and Fasterproms that I know of).

You can choose to either ship yours to us first or pay the core charge of $200 (that is refundable) and we send one out to you first. We charge the $200 just in case we don't get one back so we can keep the core program moving.

Please call, email or PM us anytime with questions. We appreciate your interest in our products and have a great day!

Best regards,

Kayla L.
