Cunningham Motorsports 6th Gen Camaro Cam Install and More...

Cunningham Motorsports started to go to town today on my baby all with the goal of better sounds, power and simply overall performance. Cam is in place and AFM delete, dual springs, valves and rod replacement is underway.

Now some of you might ask, why the build up? Well we think it could be a few things. Either I drive like a granny and babysit my car all day or the fuel trims reading 22 at idle had something to do with it. Damn prototype TB.

Overall all looks good, Cam is in the car and now the rest of the items are getting put on. The Headers will go on tomorrow with flex fuel and hopefully she will be tuned and good to go by EOD Wednesday. If all goes well

Did I mention I was able to catch the stock pull on their dyno today, new video going live on Wednesday.

Custom Cam, header install, flex fuel, afm delete, tune and dyno runs has me just under $5k.

I assume you meant pushrods when you said "rod replacement". No need for new connecting rods for a simple cam swap....

As far as the valves...are you having the heads fitted with bigger valves but keeping stock porting? you said valve replacement just wondering...

That's cheaper than I thought it would be... should always get new pushrods with a new cam. Different cam specs require different pushrod length for the proper lifter preload/rocker geometry.

Price sounds about average

Im assuming a boost oriented cam. Curious how close to 500WHP you get if not over

on 91, probably 470, with e85, maybe 490-500 we shall see as the cam is spec'ed for a blower which is going on in late Feb early March.
