Great results. Awesome work. So you went back to the stock intake manifold? I though you were tuned for the MSD. Sucker fell off hard after 5,500. Are you using 6th gear?

No. E10 and E85 were both with stock intake.

Edited my above post. What gear are you using for your dyno runs? I wish we had 85 down here. I would have to drive up near you to get some. Not worth it with the gas mileage. Maybe for the track.

So what is involved to run E85 on these cars? New injectors and tune, anything else?

I would do this down the road, if they had more places selling this around my area. Nearest E85 is 25 miles away, and it's not like I live in a rural area...

Without a Flex Fuel sensor you have to modify all of the appropriate "gas" tables with the values from the Flex Fuel tables.

With the sensor it's just a matter of turning it on in the ECM. There are a couple slight tweaks but very minor.

Thanks brother. Just trying to compare my car to your stock numbers. I have a feeling mine started out a little weak.

Nice work and excellent results! Thanks for including our intake in your testing. Although our system performs well with a stock car, the benefits become greater as air demands increase.

I would have liked to do a before/after for you but I didn't have time to swap them back and forth. Your intake is still the only one I would recommend to anyone. The lack of any MAF skew is exactly why anyone unwilling to tune should select Rotofab. The FI install proves it brings value to a modified car.

I did a before and after with gas and e85 and it was 20whp. This was on a car with CAI CAI and MSD manifold.

Was this untuned on pump vs tuned (obviously) on E85?

From what ive seen pump tunes show about ~10hp. And e85 tunes show 30-35hp.

wouldn't be surprised if he got 20hp over a 93 tune.

the op got 38hp over a 93 tune with a roto fab.

purely speculation but ive never seen a car gain that much over 93 to e85. Its usually about 20hp at best.
Hoping the roto-fab had something to do with it.

e85 is pure gold on these cars though. will be my first warranty voiding mod.
