Interior Trim Kit

Ive noticed recently that there is an option on the Chevy website as well as the Camaro Six app that offers a interior trim kit in a few different colors(white, black, red, blue, yellow). As far as I can tell from the Camaro six App, it changes the color of the brushed aluminum piece on each door(accent lighting strip) if equipped on the doors... As well as the chrome bezel around the shifter. I currently have my Camaro on its way to me on the train and I noticed this option wasn't available when I ordered back in January. My Camaro has the ceramic white interior as well as the ceramic white knee pads. I'm interested in getting the black interior trim kit and I went to my dealer and they couldn't seem to find any information about the color options in their computer system. I'm wondering if this is just because the option just became available recently or were they just not looking in the right place. On the Chevy website it looks like it's available as the "door accent trim, black" for $395. Although it doesn't notate what that includes. Does anyone know anything about this, have this option, or where to possibly find out more info about it. Thanks

All I can find is these and they don't have the light bar in them. Are you sure the kit was for the lighted trim?

It shows them on the Camaro six app as the lighted ones on the 2SS. Also it shows the bezel around the shifter black which is the piece I want the most. I figured if I could order that trim kit from the dealer and I got delivered by the time the car arrived I would just have the dealer install them with the other LPO options they will be installing.

I'm thinking an overlay would be the best option for these pieces since removal and installation is such a pain in the ass.

It's not that complicated, if you've removed a trim panel before. You just have to be careful. Here's mine

I thought that these trim pieces were only available on the 1SS and 1LT due to the fact that you cannot get the ambient lighting on those 2 models.

I'm picking up mine tomorrow & on the invoice sheet, it says that it has the interior white trim kit. I'll get pics up ASAP.

One the camaro6 app, the shifter bezel changes color, but on the Chevy build website, it DOESN'T change colors. I'm anxious to find out if it is or isn't changed.

I didn't realize you can't use the lighting! does this mean the lighting is till there, just covered up - or is the ambient lighting on the doors not installed?
When you configure a build on the Chevy website and select the interior trim kit, it doesn't say anything about not having ambient lighting. When you order the ceramic white seats, the trimkit is included in the process.
