I don't want to argue with you as you seem to be the expert here, but yes L99 where slower stock than ls3 but I don't consider them slow. With bolt-ons they were often faster than Ls3.

From a dig, yes. From a roll, the LS3 and M6 still had the advantage. Most fast fifth gen drag cars are auto, or switch the M6 to an auto. Big advantage at the track.

If you compare auto to manual which isn't fair now is it?

Both manuals the 350 is a bit harder to launch with lack of low end torque. It has a trap advantage though.

Everything equal make no mistake a 350 will outrun an SS. It even equaled a stingray in 0-150 same day same driver in the recent head to head. This was after getting an inferior launch and playing catch up.

Roll up to a 350 and go on 3 and you will see tail lights.

You aren't using all your logic...I think you know these things but are trying to rub it in a little extra. The last few years were annoying I know... But don't be foolish.

Maybe I'm crazy but I learned that the modding race to the top is usually always won by somebody who has more money than you or lies much better than you. I remember way back when In the 90s my street driven GT on DRs was running 10:30s, I was competing in the Fun Ford Weekend events, and I thought I had a shot. Each year I was out in the 1st round. I was was beat by ultra high dollar turbo cars which must have had 50k+ in mods to their cars. I finally figured I didn't have pockets deep enough to play that game.

These days I am more impressed with what a car can do bone stock, or stock with DRs. The modding clouds the waters. To date I think the fastest stock Camaro has run 11:70 with DRs, to me this is more impressive than the other 16 Camaro NOS car which is running 10s.
