Got a concerning reply from chevy chat today, they state my order has been submitted but the order status code is 0500. From my limited understanding, that means the order has been saved as a configuration in workbench, but not submitted, directly contradicting the previous sentence. The inventory manager just told me that it defaults to that status because 1LE is on constraint, but I feel like others are at 1100 with constrained orders. Am i crazy or is this dealer giving me the runaround? Went here on a friend’s recommendation as he’s in service so not 100% sure.

I talked with a dealer today who said if you can find a 22 on a lot, buy it. I get the sense that the 23s may be very limited if they come out at all. These constraints are really taking a toll, apparently.

Found a 2021 2SS 1LE with only 1400 miles and pulled the trigger. No more waiting for my '23 order.

Yesterday I got an email from support saying "Your vehicle order has been accepted by Chevrolet and is working toward the production process, but hasn't assigned a Target Production Week yet."
This briefly got my hopes up, but after checking the automated chat function and talking to a live agent today I'm fairly certain the order is still at 1100 which is not surprising.

The email was the odd one out, so I'm assuming whoever sent me the email was lying or misinformed, not sure. I guess my point is that you can't even trust the weekly email update even though it appears to be done by a human  The order is a ZLE w/ PDR which should be hitting several constraints as far as I can tell, so I would be rather shocked if I moved past 1100 only after a few weeks since submitting. I suspect I'll be in this waiting room with you fine folks for quite a while. The silver lining is that it gives me more time to build up the savings before she arrives.

this could be the wheels
I may have (or have not) come to a conclusion that this could be the 20 in. wheel that is required for the Heavy-Duty Cooling and Brake Package, and this could be the "new" wheel design for the Camaro, if you want the 20 in. wheel option
