Remap Camaro SS 2017 auto more heat?
Hi everyone.
I just got my 2017 Camaro SS auto remapped. My goal was to stop the infamous torque converter shudder, which I did not achieve. On the other hand, the AFM V4 mode has been deactivated, with still no results concening the shudder... Now after REMAP I am noticing something completely new: The fan is starting in heavy traffic and when I park the car I hear some "cracking" noises from the exhaust, showing the temperature was higuer than usual. Should I be worried about this and it is to damage the engine? I am wondering about getting back to the original settings and configurations. Thanks to all. |

tuner probably set your fans to come on at 195deg instead of 222deg i wouldnt worry about the exhaust cracking noises. mine did that new.
