Circle D 3200 278 stall to Circle D 245 4c 3800 stall .

Well ive had the 3200 in my car for 4 years now. Its 391 geared. My 60ft is exactly the same now as it was before the cam 1.9. Circle D suggested their 245 mm 3800 billet stall.Does anybody have this converter? Just wondering if its worth the expense. Im on stock rims with Nitto 555r2s on the back. I
nt to go as fast as i can with what i have. Thanks fellas.

Lots of guys here that made the move from a 3200/3600 stall to a 4k or higher stall that swear it made all the difference in the world, as if the 3200 just wasn't enough. Obviously, the cam factors into this as well. I am fairly certain when I get mine I am going 4k.

Probably better off spending the coin on 17” drag radials.

I went from a 3200, which my tuner suggested in my build up to the Circle D 5C 4200-4500 single disc per recomendations from a couple guys on here, and Cirdlc D, and man let me tell you, it made ALL the difference in the world on how this beast gets off the line now!! Night and day difference. You whack the throttle now and she flashes up to 6k, drops back down a tad and off we go, the 3200 only flashed to about 3800, dropped down some and was dull until it got over 4200 then it would be ok, but with my curve I needed it way up there in the power band to be more efficient. Had I know this back 3 years ago when we did the build, I would have went bigger that 3200 for sure. But I learned something after 2 years of driving with the 3200. Go big or go home!! lol. One of my friends has a 3600 in his and he says mine feels better than his off the line..

Nice..im looking at the 3800 to 4000 4c billet. Im glad you posted because thats how my car feels.Imo the 3200 seems sluggish of the line till you get going. Circle d suggested the 4c with my mods and 391s. I want that big hit from the jump.Have you tracked your car?

Yea the 3200 just isn't enough at all, heck like I said my buddies 3600 didn't seem to do it either, and he has the same cam as I do except he has the FAST 102 intake and I have the LOD. You need a converter that will get you up into your power band and not fall of much for the upshifts. As for tracking the car, no I haven't had her over yet, it's just been WAY to hot here for me to drive over and hope to get good runs in. When she was mostly stock with just LT's, CAI, ported TB, X-pipe and an axleback and a dyno tune I was making 1.80 60ft's... 12.63 @113

Are you spinning the whole time? With your mods you should be in the 11’s easily.
