Tinted Windows

Who has tinted their windows? Wondering what darkness I should go with or just leave it clear? Thanks

I went with 20% all the way around. Technically not in state regulation specs…supposed to be 32% but I am happy with it in the hot summers and have had no issues legality wise. My only complaint is that in the dark it is a little more difficult to see and sometimes have to put the windows down to see on dark roads

While all my past cars had tint I decided that I didn't buy a convertible to roll the window up and therefore why spend the $$?

Also with all the reports of back window issues I don't want a dealer giving me warranty hassles saying it was due to the tint so I'm just leaving mine as they are

For me, I did 15% that was as dark as I wanted to go since I do drive at night sometimes. Any darker and you can't see shit out your side/back.

While I see your point…I have top down most of the time too, I can tell you that in the hot Atlanta summers originally and now the 95-105 degree days in Kansas summers, getting back in the car after having it parked in the sun during the day doesn’t melt my skin off with the tint on the windows!

Yeah maybe a lighter tint may be the way to go.

20% here in the desert and ceramic is a must have here. if I was in a colder climate I would opt for the cheap tint.

it's kinda hard to see out at night but otherwise it's just right for us. 35% is what's legal here but no one cares. most people get 5% sides and 35% front.

It's 35% here and most places don't seem to stock anything lighter. Us old guys can't see as well at night and I would have liked something lighter. I did put Air 70 on the windshield. Only slightly harder to see out at night and keeps the heat down.

I bought my 2017 used and it had tint already. Looks about 20% to me. I like it because the entire car is black.

But I decided not to go with tint on my C6 Grand Sport.

Thanks everyone for the input. I will likely do 35%

Mine is scheduled for tint in about 2 weeks.
I'm also going light, 30%.
