Indeed, great car. Well cared for. Dealership tried their lies and manipulation right out the gate on me, knowing I talked to the owner moments earlier.

Dealer is asking $51k. Previous owner traded it in for $41.5k. I asked what's a reasonable margin, told them I've talked to the previous owner, know the trade amount and condition of the car. They said $49k Justifying price by saying previous owner was offered $55k... Even though is was just traded in for $41.5k. Hilarious

Oh hell. I can see them asking 44-45k to make a quick buck, or taking it as an offer, but man, people and dealers are getting RIDICULOUS with the Z/28. I am infatuated with the Z/28 to a sickening extent, but even I wouldn't pay 50k for any that had more than 1k miles.

Asking price doesn't matter, sale price does. Dealers and consumers, both, can't seem to understand the difference. Dealers will always try to take advantage of uneducated consumers whenever possible.

This dealer, however, overstepped in my opinion. Not worth my time and undeserving of my money. Didn't even respond after that

The more time that will go buy the more people will know what this car is and tack on a premium to it, especially lower mileage cars. (IMO)

You are correct. Premiums are starting to apply to the Z/28. I sold my last one never thinking they would start appreciating in value this fast. Miss her to death, so buying another, and ditching my 6th gen ZL1!
