Trans or Rear End Issue?

I know I've come across other threads about this but can't find them.
Haven't driven the car for a couple of weeks and when I went to pull out of the garage nothing, reverse or forward. Turned it on and off couple of times hoping for an electronic glitch but still didn't work.
Decided to give it one more try before disconnecting the battery.
This time gave it a little gas and clunk, it sounded like it was breaking free from being stuck. Seemed to come more from the rear than the tranny.
Took it around the block listening for anything out the ordinary but nothing and now everything seems fine.
Is the something I need to worry about or get checked?

Could have been the brakes sticking to rotor or tires sticking to garage floor did you park it wet?

Did you wash it before putting it away...sounds like the break pads were sticking to me.

Yes, washed and pulled her straight into the garage to towel off.
If that's the case and hope that it is, never experienced this on any other car I've owned.

Oh man...pay attn the next time you wash her!! Those discs will be rust colored by the time you finish drying. Next time take it around the block after drying to skim the brakes clean & then you can dry off any streaks on the rest of the car.

Had the same thing happen to me right after washing it and parking it for a couple days. It's just the brakes getting unstuck. No need to get it checked.

Then yes 99.9% it was stuck brake pads. The brake pads will bond to the rotors if they're put away wet. As said above, after washing just drive it around the block once to dry off the pads/rotors and you won't have the problem again.

Thanks for the info guys....
Haven't had an issue since the original occurrence.
The noise was so loud I figured whatever happened it wasn't good. Lol
