fitment issues with carbon creations rear diffuser!!

So im soo excited!!! I picked up my new carbon creations rear carbon fiber diffuser and it looks aggressive!!! I finally get time today to get the rear of the car all apart and start to mock things up and im noticing that the corners on the inside bends are no way going to pull up to the bumper lines!!!If I line up one side to fit the opposite corner is off 1/2 an inch??? and you cant pull the plastic bumper up to make up the difference. I've now spent hours carefully looking over what would have to be trimmed to get it closer to the bumper to spread out the area and match up the corners!!!but the inside mating flange would have to be cut off to get it in tighter which means there would be no flange left to through bolt to the bumper!!!! and it would look sooo good on the car!!! don't know what I can do and it was a 599.00 diffuser??? I expected this to fit well? Anybody here has installed one of these!!!

I have the Havoc Diffuser, mine fit great with no gaps however I notice your Carbon unit seems to be one piece.

Hopefully someone with the same model can chime in, it truly does look awesome in full Carbon, definitely would look great!

Keep us posted.

What a shame. Looks like it cured a bit off from spec.

That thing looks gorgeous.

Did you have the GFX diffuser originally?

I agree. Otherwise you may be spending hundreds of dollars to get this correctly fitted.

Yup, don't accept it with a fit like that. If you like the piece, send it back for another. I'd give them one more try....

yes this is a single part, not as defined edged like the havoc but somewhat similar. I love the havoc but they don't do carbon fiber

Had the standard ss rear diffuser, now I cant go back after looking at the possibilities of how awesome this could look if the fitment was good. its as if the second part that is glassed onto to top to make the ledge to bolt it to the inner channel of the bumper was either ground in and glassed poorly or the tooling for this was way off I guess the good part is im a hour away from carbon creations, a.k.a. " extreme dimensions" so ill call them tomorrow

I would contact Carbon Creations with the photos and go from there.
