please help with a side rocker choice??

I am desperately looking for a nice side rocker setup to add to the finish with my front spliter!! I am also a big fan on the gm zl1 setup and how well the install ends up fitting the car!!! soo was just getting ready to order one today and the place tells me that if I paint the entire rocker and don't leave the bottom black that the finish is not made to be painted and is a rough pattern??? has anybody sanded and painted the whole gm zl1 rockers??? and what would be the next choice?? acs side rockers?? has anybody used a couple different setups and know how they fit and compare?? I do plan to paint the entire rocker and not leave a black bottom stripe to match everything else being already painted. thank you for anyone out there who has already found the setup! it sucks when your set on something to just get dream squashed!!

I got mine from here. http://n.stuccu.com/s/ZL1+Rocker+Panels Already came painted. Mine were summit white and matched perfectly. You may have to search the page a bit for the color you're looking for.

Here's mine with the rockers.

I have the ACS T4 side skirts, very similar to ZL1. Painted them body color with no issues so far. Easy install with rivets. The gap could be tighter but pleased overall.

Zl1 is by far the best. I found a set already painted on eBay and it was too good a deal to pass up

I went with the ACS T5 splitter and rockers. VERY happy. Great fit out of the box.

I got my ZL1 side rockers from Rogers Chevrolet. They [B]do not[B] have the rough surface on the bottom. Rogers painted them bright yellow for me and I think they look great. Talk to Maureen, she swore that they were GFX but the barcode on the back read ZL1/GMX. They aren't what I originally ordered but I'm glad I kept them.

I like this one, especially the car overall. Looks elegant.
