Missed you at RA in May, didn't work out for me to be there that weekend.
See you at RA or Mid-Ohio yet this year?

Finally got into the 24's this past weekend! Even more excited about the Garmin indicated Optimal......going to get back to RA in September hunting for a 23.

I was not driving, Just came out to support the Camaro club since they were donating to the cancer society. I'll keep an eye out for when you go in Fall I live pretty close to R.A so can stop out whenever.

Hey! I will be at Autobahn CC for the first time later this month with my car, and then Mid-Ohio, but I will be there coaching a couple of guys in the inter and advanced group.

Any changes to your car since last year's lap? You didn't include any of the car details, so I left it as is for now.

This is my first visit to Summit Point. The track is short, but surprisingly fun. I should be able to shave a couple more seconds with my next visit. Watching the session video, I see lots of opportunity for improvement.

Forgot the Razecar details:

Swapped to a Maggie 2650 - Zach @ Katech hooked me up. Running the biggest pulley they could put on it (105mm) and only 6-7lbs of boost but running way cooler oil temps (Travis' C&R Oil Cooler set-up in the driver HX location too) and expect it to be far more dependable/sustainable. Was going as conservative as possible on RWHP for fueling, etc. initially.

Already talking to Zach about perhaps turning up the wick a bit next season..... Okay, who am I kidding, I'll definitely be dialing it up next season......

Added APR wing and ACS front splitter.

The interesting thing is that any horsepower gain is more than offset by the additional Aero drag as I am down around 4mph at the end of the front straight vs. last season.

The great news is that investing in my racecraft has an even better ROI than car upgrades. Definitely hitting braking zones and the turns in 1/5/11/12 much harder. And still room to go.........

Will see if I can set another PB in Sept.

Well heck, i'm 1.5 seconds slower in the heat than i was last October. Although over the course of a 3.5 mile lap, that's not too bad.



I'm just happy the used brake pads i bought held up to a day's worth of track heat. Now to bed the Hawk DTC-60's and see how we go from there.


I'll take any driving tips... it's just me guessing out there!

First Gen6 track day for me. I had a '14 SS 1LE that I tracked for 6 years and I traded it in late last year to order a 2022 1SS 1LE A10. Best time in the '14 was 1:54.78 at Pitt Race. Lots more time to be cut on the new one.
