Actually, my 1SS 1LE showed that I had HD rear vision camera, also, then shows deleted for PDR, right on my window sticker. Mine is a 2020, but same thing. When I took delivery I was convinced I had it.....nope!!!

I will clarify, It IS an option for other models, but as I stated, on a 1SS 1LE, you cannot have rearview AND PDR, one eliminates the other.

The 1SS doesn't come with a HD rear view mirror camera, that feature only comes on the 2SS. Perhaps PDR removes the HD rear view camera on the 2SS. The 1SS (and the 2SS) both come with back up cameras.

Yup! Exactly as mine, it shows, but when the PDR is added for the 1LE package, the rearview camera is not included. If you actually have it, please post back.


I was actually convinced I had it, as mine showed just like yours, until I tried to make it work and only got a manual dimmer switch. LOL! Research after shows Chevy deletes when adding PDR to the build.

Both. The back up camera is standard on both 1SS/2SS. The HD rear view mirror camera is not. It only comes on the 2SS.

All cars have a backup camera, that's federal law for years now....

Rearview cam is only present with PDR on 2SS 1LE, 1SS 1LE loses rearview with PDR. Trim level matters.

Shows in dealer invoice and window sticker as an equipped option. Option is the key word, however, the 1LE package removes it.

For what it's worth, when I was building on the site (in 2020) I was able to option the rearview cam on a 1SS without the 1LE package. It adds it, along with the extra cost.
I debated 2SS but went with the 1LE add on instead, seemed like a better bang for the buck, especially as I did not want many of the "extras" in the 2SS

Unless that has changed, you can indeed build with one as an option.

1SS didn't have forward collision alerts, or side mirror alerts, or any other safety alerts available in that trim, not even as options. Again, 2020, maybe it has changed. Can't remove what was never available. I built a dozen configs before I bought.
