Drove it to work for one. Tonight I’m going to change the diff and manny tranny fluids. After reading info on these forums I’m going with Royal Purple. Is anyone going to DuQuoin this weekend for the street machine nationals. Thinking of going since it’s an hour away.

looked at my fading fenders with sadness and decided after work I'm gonna put some time into polishing them before the family bbq tomorrow. Cant have the Camaro looking bad in front of everyone, I'm sure you guys understand lol. Also gonna finally put on my new hood support so my new hood finally stays up. Ill see what else ill work on depending on time

A present

I bought her a present in the form of an ECS Supercharger... Although they may not be roommates for awhile...

Got my McLeod clutch and flywheel back from the machinist. Had the flywheel ground and the assembly balanced. Brought it home and started shimming the floating plate. Still need to check all clearances before install

Not today, but this weekend I paint corrected the whole car. Not perfect but all the fading clear on my fenders is gone and the car looks pretty damn good. Did a quick polish and jetseal. 5 hours start to finish. Took it to a family bbq the next day and everyone couldn't get over how great it looks after 12 years and never being in a garage. Such a great feeling. Plus, it took all the attention away from my stepfathers challenger which was the whole point of me bringing the Camaro... screw that guy lol

Very cool sir!! Great job with the correction, AND taking away the Challengers "zing"! To me they are just another car.. Doesn't do anything for me.

Yeah, they are my least favorite of the top 3. His is also an older one with the ugly taillights and the 5.7. I made sure he heard the 6.2 as I pulled in his driveway lol.

You see ... And I like the older lights a lot more than the facelift lights.
I have 2014 R/T manual here...

That car has an incredible aura.
You have no need to drive fast or chase performance.
You just open the cutouts and slowly sail through the landscape.

If I compare it with the Camaro, I would take a Camaro on the racing circuit. But definitely Challenger for long trips.

In my defense, i mostly just hate the guy himself... lol. But as i previously stated, the challenger is my least favorite of the top 3. Id take a charger over the challenger. Ive seen some done up real nice at the local car shows so yea theres exceptions but for the most part, im not a fan. A buddy of mine had a dark gray scat pack shaker for a bit that was pretty sharp.
