Aeroforce Gauge Install Issue

I'm not a mechanic but am mechanically inclined but this is just weird.
I mean how straight forward can this be just plug it in.
Got a dual set which I tested the other day and everything worked fine.
After doing the install today i'm having all kinds of issues, when I plugged it in the car goes nuts.
Gauges do not come on, car won't start although has accessory power but the trunk won't open, drivers window was down and won't work, hearing a gurgling sound, tells me to ck this sys and that sys.
So I unplug it from the odb port and everything goes back to normal instantly.
What gives?
Any ideas....Should I just order another power cord....

Wow!? Could be a bad power cord. I did the install on mine. No issues whatsoever, just plug and go. I’d guess a bad cord.
