Throttle controller vs Ported TB

I'm in the market for either the Vitesse throttle controller or the Tony Mamo ported throttle body, possibly both.
From what I've been able to research feedback on either has been mainly positive. It seems the ported throttle body works better with an aftermarket CAI but not sure if I'm going that route.
For those that have tried both which did you feel gave you the better response? Not worried about the cost.
Is there any benefit from using both?

I have both installed and do not desire any additional throttle response. I don't really feel a lag in sport and track mode. I don't drive in touring mode, so I have no input there.

I have a Katech ported TB, and the throttle response seems just fine to me.

I have both CAI and ported throttle body...work perfectly together. I have the Vitesse Throttle Controller sitting on opened...just dont think ill need it. Im very pleased with current throttle response. Also have heard that sometimes the throttle controller will throw cel that need to be cleared. So far it seems unnecessary.

The throttle speed from the factory is a joke. It completely tames this car. And the worst part is that you can't adjust it stock. That is just a shame. I have a ported TB and a throttle controller. The TB won't make your car any faster unless you do other mods. But it is nice to have. The throttle controller won't make you any faster in the quarter mile, but it will definitely feel much faster. Especially when coming off a ramp and merging into traffic. If I could only choose one, then I would go with the throttle controller for sure. If tuning is in your future then you won't need it.

Thanks for the input. I understand about the speed/faster and hp observations. All I want is a quicker pedal. If both mesh and give a better response together than either by itself I don't have a problem getting both. Not looking to do a tune in the near future (after warranty maybe) and on the fence concerning CAI.

I had a vitesse throttle controller fir gen5. Junk. Never do it again. Would throw car into random limp modes. Hit a bump and car goes into limp mode. Don’t do it.

throttle controllers are pretty worthless and do nothing for performance. The "feel" because of a quicker ramping throttle position is all you get. Ported throttle body is a little help especially with a 6spd car to help the throttle tip in stumble.

I have the Pedal Commander and have not thrown codes. It has 36 different levels of throttle adjustability, I use the sport +1-2 settings around town.

I also have a Tony Mamo ported throttle body and Roto-Fab CAI. I immediately started logging using HP Tuners when I installed the throttle body. My short term and long term fuel trims really have been out of alignment greater than 8% at times. I drove the car about 100 miles after this install and resetting the computer so it would relearn, but to me it appears minimally the MAF may need to be re calibrated. Not sure I want to tune it just yet so I may take off the TB for now.
