I know where you're coming from with this comment, but there's a subtlety some folks might care to know.

Manual transmission cars have all of the AFM "hardware" except the valves in the exhaust behind the secondary cats and the actuators that would mount there. The significant thing they are 'missing' is the control in the computer to drop the motor into 4CYL mode.

In other words, the engines are exactly the same, the computers are exactly the same, but the software in the manual transmission models lacks the control to drop the motor into 4CYL mode.

Yeah that's the better way to put it, guess it's kinda like if someone were to tune out AFM on a auto

Yes, so far every manual on every engine option doesn't come with AFM from factory enabled
