Also, see if the original exhaust goes with it. Here’s another thought. Ask if any Paint Protection Film has been applied to the car. To get the whole car done isn’t cheap but.....if it’s applied in the right areas it’s good stuff to have and I know I paid a good chunk of cash to have my entire car done. In my eyes, if it has a quality PPF on the car it makes the car a little bit more money. If it doesn’t, maybe see if you could work it into the deal or make out like your disappointed and it’s a bit of a hassle now cause you have to get it done. Worth trying. Same with the exhaust, you want the original because it’s original. Get what I’m sayin? |

Went from 16 1ss to 18 zle. A little different as it's not the standard zl1 but it was night and day. The extra power is a lot of fun and the upgraded interior is nice as well. A little more weight but I haven't noticed it going thru the twisties. Everyone's replies are spot on and if you go for it you wont be disappointed

Well I traded my 2SS 2014 to a ZL1 2019 on special dealership offer. That is a big jump considering the big difference in HP from L99 to LT4 plus the A10.
I accepted the offer when I knew that this car was in the showroom all the time and was not exposed to heat, dust, and humidity. Driving it for 2 weeks and enjoying so far |

[QUOTE=JasonGofast;10824464]I picked up my '19 with 200 miles on it for $52k. This was the lowest like new price I saw when searching at the time.
Best deal I've seen ! |

Apparently the 17-18 have oil pump failure issues. I believe it is far more rare on the 19+ models. |

Well, unfortunately, the wife did not give her blessing on my desire for a ZL1 which I knew would be a hurdle. (Happy wife happy life & all that) She reminded me we have to have our house reshingled this year, our oldest is 2yrs from college so we’ve been saving for that & it would drastically cut into my other hobbies. We agreed to go with my original plan of a 2650 & supporting mods on this one in the future, so I ordered new tires & and an axle back today. Thanks to everyone for their input. It was greatly appreciated. |

Update: The dream is not dead quite yet.
One question, do ZL1’s not have AFM/DoD? |
