Neutral

Is there a way to leave my A10 transmission in neutral, engine off, close the door and not have that damn dinger go constantly?

I don't know the answer, but just out of curiosity, why would you want to?

Have to shift to P, I know of no way to eliminate that, apart from being destructive of course.

You may want to contact WAMS for a potential solution if you really, really want it.

Are you trying to roll it into a trailer or storage without climbing in and out of the car? Maybe disconnect the negative battery cable in the trunk. It seems unlikely that the chime can be disabled for that situation.

Better make sure you don't close the trunk afterward.

Why would I want to?
When I put my car on the lift, i pull short of the optimum placement so I can open the door wider without banging the door on lift. Then I just push it up to the correct spot.

It's also handy for turning the rear wheels when in neutral.

Makes sense.

The rear wheels should turn even when not in neutral of both are off the ground...
