If this thing isn't at Detroit in January, then we can riot.

What buildings would we start looting. We could light a Ford dealership on fire.

I don't remember us ever being this close to a reveal and still don't know squat. It looks like GM has finally lowered the boom on leaks after the C7 Z06 was revealed a year before the C7 base car was revealed.

One thing for sure......GM can not do its usual BS of trickling out the performance models long after the base car, then V8 car, then a year later a convertible, then a few years later a performance version, etc. Ford dropping the incredible GT350 so quickly after releasing the new Mustang will not allow GM to sit around year after year.

That's for sure! We better see a 1LE option on the SS immediately when it's released.

Agreed, and I think we will.

In fact, I'd bet we will see a performance/track pack for The V6 and V8 models (and maybe the turbo 4?) That's assuming the V6 is an optional engine, and not the base, which according those "in the know" is how it will go down, but we'll see.

One of the videos of the 6th gen track testing is clearly a V6 or maybe the turbo model, so that's just positive evidence of my thoughts above.

The c7 corvette had the z51 option available in the first model year, i don't see why they wouldn't offer the 1le package in the first model year on the 6th gen camaro

Indeed. If it's coming out at the NAIAS, we'll see it around January 12-13.

... And if it's not coming out at NAIAS, we'll see some general gnashing of teeth and pulling out of hair around here.
