I have never seen them next to each other but from what i can tell it's noticeably darker. It almost looks like it has a hint of purple on dark and gloomy days (which is very typical in Pacific Northwest)

Hey thanks, good to see you To answer your question, I had 3 (sets of Apex wheels) and am planning to run Nankang AR1s, Toyo RRs, Goodyear 3Rs and possibly R888Rs too. If I get another towing vehicle, maybe some R7s in the mix as well

Thx Cem! Ive been debating square vs zl1 1le fittment...
Regular g3s now come in the latter sizes as well for more rubber...cant decide which way to go...

I am also planning to try both square (19x11" all around) and ZLE original sizes. Ideally.an 18x10.5" F and 18x11.5" setup would be better since there are more tire choices available (295/315 RRs all square RRs, 315-335 R888R , 295/315/30/18 Nankang AR1s...etc and cheaper and more affordable as well.

If you have more than one set, I would definitely recommend R888Rs for longevity and good balance between performance between OEM tires and RRs.

In my experience, R888Rs and RRs only about 1.4 sec faster in my home track, same day and similar conditions (maybe 5F degree higher ambient temps with R888Rs) as you can notice RRs are slightly narrower

In case you are interested and may have missed it, there is a guy floating around that had commissioned sets of Formula 3 grade carbon fiber brake lines for a reasonable price. Its possible he still has a few sets left. He said they really improved the pedal feel, I have a set sitting on the tool box for when it warms up.

Last time I heard they have very limited stock of those Castrol SRFs. I will go ahead and order some extra bottles when it becomes available

Same. I plan on tracking some of my other cars for a bit anyways so not a huge deal but would like to get the Camaro back on the track eventually.
