2018 ZL1 1LE Production Numbers

Correct, it was for total ZL1 production...she couldn't segregate the colors by model... my SWAG based on what I saw from dealer ads when I was looking for mine is Red Hot should be around 20% of the production

Now all we need is how many RH with the 1LE Trans Code.

If we take a swag @ 20% of 739 it's 147 Not too bad.

Safe to assume 20% of those were 1LE's or not?

I would venture that to NOT be a safe assumption. From the numbers for the 2017 SS 1LE, there were no direct correlations from the overall production numbers.

Assuming forum member SINSSTR's #s are correct:
1LE production was 1567/6164 = 25%.
and Red Hot was 739/6164 = 12% in 2018. In 2017 Red Hot was ~11% so this is certainly in the ballpark as GM has been consistent with color palette over the last few years.

So 25% of 739 would estimate 187 Red Hot 1LEs produced.

Wait till electric motors start popping up and supercharged V8 disappear in these muscle cars !!

I just heard today that someone is introducing a bill for the US to be completely carbon free in the near future.

Granted, that may be a long time from now but it seems like it’s unavoidable.

That’s when those that got rid of these supercharged V8 will hope they kept them.

I believe this sums up the soul of the car!
