No it opens the npp valves for 15 or 30 secs. (I can't remember exactly) on initial start up to give it that loud crack and volume

Even with them closed it's loud. Has a little bit to do with the extra fueling needed to richen it up like a choke would

Sent Borla an email. They are just sending me a new one.

Also, the only change I made to system was !F51. Nanny is set on auto for exhaust and such, I stay in sport mode. F51 is back in, not blown, valves stay open.

UPDATE

Borla asked two questions via email then OFFERED to send me new external valves pieces. Says 60605 on box. Outstanding customer service. Arrived a week ago Thursday and put them on Sunday. Works fine. Spring tension on new set much less than original.
