I have always had better luck and more consistency spraying in any weather warmer than 80 - even with SC3's. Peak tire temps on course can skyrocket even in one long sweeper and can ruin your run once they get there. You've all done it - start hustling the car too hard and spinning up the rears and find the rest of the run remains slidy AF. That's too much heat in the tread. Start from a more consistent surface temp and the issue will be more consistently contained. I will start spraying once the tires have anything more than a warm feeling. You might wanna give it a try and see if spraying after every run helps or hurts your times. It might, it might not. But all it costs you is a couple minutes between runs to find out.

Track times show the same for all of the typical 200tw autocross tires - First few laps are typically the best and then times level off a bit slower.
