Also changed tires to shorter 26" tall, in favor of the previous 28" tires. A noticable increase in acceleration!

New wheels and tire

Finally got my ZL1 wheels. 20x9 front 30 mm offset and 5mm spacer. 20x11 rear 43 mm offset. Tires are 255/40/20 front and 295/35/20 rear. Wheels are O.E. Creations and tires are Falken Azenis FK510 high performance summer. Very happy with the fit and no rubbing. Might lower the car next year.

ESR SR12 (Apex EC-7 Replicas) 18x10.5 +22 w/ 295/30/18 Yokohama A052 square set-up. Needs a 10 mm spacer and extended studs up front for clearance.

If you grind down the area that the tire touches a bit then you will have clearance without the spacers, Thats what we did with my mine and my APEX SM10 19 x 10.5 ET22 APEX wheels work great even BEFORE I installed camber plates with -2.0 degrees negative camber. WITH camber plates and for the track, I dial in -3.6 degrees negative camber. Street settings are -2.2 degrees negative camber with the plates

Does anyone have these wheels in 19x10front and 19x11 rear running 325/30/19s in the rear or does anyone know if it’ll fit 325s??? Really want these wheels but I’m not running anything less than a 325

My setup is
Wheels are Ferrada FR8-FR7
Front wheels are 20x10 +25 offset 285/30/20
Rear are 20x11 +30 offset 315/30/20

Just out of curiosity am I the only one who went with the more aggressive rear tires sticking out a little look? Seems that EVERYONE has the tires square with the body look.

I was wondering, I havea set of wheels with the fronts being 20X9 5X120 20 MM and the rears being 20X10.5 5X120 35 MM, can I fit 275/40/20 in the front and a 315/35/20 extreme contact on them or would I need to get a spacer and move the wire harness?

Only way to see if these exotic wheel/tire choices work is to try them.

I'd relocate the driver side main body harness in the rear and hope it's enough. The offsets look good, but these tires are a full inch taller than stock, the fronts will likely not clear the strut perch without a spacer either. The speedo will be off by quite a bit (4%), but the front vs rear ratio is almost OEM, so I don't expect codes or ABS/stabilitrak issues.

On a related note, I don't get the fascination with these higher aspect ratios, what do you expect of the taller sidewall? A significantly softer ride? Or is this about filling the wheel wells without suspension mods?

Has anyone tried to fit Apex ARC-8's 19x9.5 ET33 Square with 285/35/19? Trying to get the offset as high as possible to minimize wheel weight and poke. Ok with running up to a 5mm spacer in front but not wanting to extend wheel studs or grind down anything (trying to be able to go back to stock if any warranty issue arises). Stock SS/LT1 suspension without Mag-Ride.

All my research leads me to believe these are going to be super close. I've seen 19x10 ET 28 work with no spacers but that was with 275 width tires and not 285's. In theory the wheel itself should clear but adding 10mm to the tire width could cause issues.

Each wheel is also different so it's hard to say on that aspect too. I've seen 19x10 ET 25 require a 3MM (effective 22ET) but then 20x10 ET33 with a 5MM spacer (ET28) is ok. So it seems that the clearance issue is mostly with the wheel but tire has a little more room so maybe I'm ok.

Just don't want to get into a situation where I spend 1,500 on wheels and 1,000 on tires to find out that the ARC-8s don't have the same clearances and I need to run 275's in the front and or a 10mm spacer + extended studs.

Anyone have high offset 19x9.5's with 285's that can share their setup specs?
