This might seem counter intuitive, but I've learned if I keep my heel on the floor (clutch foot) when taking of from a start, I can get off the mark very smoothly. Giving your foot a purch gives you more dexterity and control I guess.
Give it a shot. It works! |

I mentioned it because on my '16 Camaro SS 6MT that issue is not present.

Just as an FYI I had a 2017 SS M6 and after I installed a Tony MAMO Throttle body the response was SOOO much improved off idle which is where your issue is on the M6. I have an A10 ZL1 now and do NOT have any issues with stalling etc. The Tony MAMO TB is not cheap but on the M6 it is essential IMHO. Just disconnect the battery first.

I also tried the Tony Mamo TB, but didn't have any luck. If anything, the car felt worse

Same here…i can disconnect battery and have a few hundred miles before it learns that crap again. So annoying. Tune didn’t fix it either. It’s babysitting at it’s finest

I don't really have a issue with my 2018 except when Ive been driving my Corvette for a while which feels like you can't stall it and then switch back there is a slight learning curve. The only time I have stalled or had it feel a little jerky is when I back up on my lift, other then that I thought this was the best 6 speed I have ever owned.

Wasn’t there some talk of this a while back about the Soler TB combating this effectively due to a much improved airflow at very moderate throttle input? Even more improved with their throttle controller?
That being said, I haven’t noticed the bog my ‘18 SS had, but I have a Soler TB & TC I just might install this week to see how it works. |

this shouldn't require an aftermarket tune, they should fix it with a revised factory tune
