Sorry not sure how to rotate pictures
Just a quick edit. I always preview my post to see if pictures need rotation. If they do I save the out of rotation picture, rotate it, upload and preview again.

I made a blueprint, solid model and printed a pod to hold the gauge in the vent.

That was the way I was going to go and I bought the same pod from member DorkMissile but I needed to also run a wideband so I want with the zzp instead.

How is the fit of the zzp mount?

Mint. OEM quality. I was very impressed with it.

I only had one issue with the clip you have to reuse from the oem, it didn't want to clip on to the pillar. But I got it on and its a great fit.

Yes I’m able to make more of these. Printer was down for upgrades.

Cool. I have a couple of questions.

Does it snap into the dash just like the stock vent?
How does the trim ring attach to your part?
The stock vent is deeper. Does your mount attach to the stock vent or replace it?
How does the gauge attach to your mount?

Thanks

No this is FFF (fused filament fabrication) style printer. Metal printer, even in consumer grade, is pricey.

This pod directly replaced the stock vent/diverter. The factory vent/diverted is captured by a spherical bore (socket). The two halves of the socket are most likely fused at the seam during production after the vent/diverted is in place.

The trim ring is attached to the factory vent housing.

This mount goes inside of stock vent housing.

The gauge attached to the mount using the supplied clamp provided by the garage manufacturer. Slide the gauge through the front and the clamp in the rear has two plastic thumb screws the keep the gauge in place.
