That is good to hear! I was eyeing and drooling over a GT3/RS for years but the big thing for me is that I sort of lost some love for the ZLE around town. No doubt tons of fun still, but you had to be careful with traction and loose gravel. There is just something for having AWD in Colorado and driving literally whenever I want as hard as I want!

The turbos seem to have no lag, and the amazing PDK and AWD put the power down so all you have to do is mash the throttle for perfect 2.5 second 0-60 launches and 10.5 1/4 mile runs every time.

I love my ZLE but I prefer the 911 design, and the interior is high quality luxury.

I want one but at over $200k, the Turbo S is beyond my budget. I'm happy that Chevy created the ZLE, IMO the world's first true supercar under $75k.
my ss 1le makes over 700ft/lbs at the wheel at 3000 rpm and stays above 700 all the way to redline
my zl1 1le is gonna be more and my extremely slow z06 makes 640 hp at the wheel lol

After my high HP Evo X track car I don't think I'll ever drive a car on track without a warranty.

How do you have a 2018 ZL1 1LE on order, being delivered from a remote dealer?

Do you track your cars on road course? At over 700 WHP, road course reliable fueling below 1/2 tank for the ZL1 seems to require a fuel cell with integrated surge tank as well as injectors, and cam or maybe HP fuel pump--especially with E85.

In Colorado, a turbo s will annihilate a GT3 or RS, turbos lose no power at altitude compared to N/A cars!

Cheers

Pics

Here we go, some of the old girls and then some with the new girl. It is tough because the pictures don't do the Miami Blue justice!

Not worried about warranty as I can fix it myself. I haven't updated my sig that was 3 years ago when I did have it on order. Like the ss 1le that makes 880 rwhp the zl1 1le will be getting the works and hopefully make 1k+ rwhp Thats the goal anyway.

That makes a big difference.

I've designed and/or installed a few mods I'm proud of, like a foolproof track-day SST trans cooling system for my Evo X SE (triple Setrab coolers with fans, thermostat activated secondary pump circuit).

But my skills are very limited. If I tried to rebuild an engine or trans I would fail :-)

And the AEROKIT! Nice choice!

Beautiful color! I’ve always been a grabber blue fan and i just might like Miami blue even better. Always makes me do a double take when I’m scrolling through pics and drooling.
