DMS ZL1 2 Gallon Supercharger Fender Tank Install

Installed the DMS 2 gallon fender tank tonight. Mounting the tank was fairly easy. Routing the hoses was not. I have already some minor mods to my hoses from the Cordes tank I'm replacing so I kinda just did what worked.

They didn't have instructions for 6th gen Camaro but have some for CTS-V that helped with making sure I mounted the tank as they expected. The one 90° bend could have been a 45° at the bottom, my installation sat back further that was shown in the CTS-V (where that 90° bend works better). Bottom hose goes into the top (inlet) of the pump and top hose goes to the top right supercharger fitting (outlet). My routing of the lower hose made installing the fender liner a little snug but it went into place.

Quality of the tank was nice, comes with a bleeder hose for the top. Filled the system up tonight and will do some topping off in the morning as bubbles rise. I wound up installing the tank that came with my 2300 that was never installed originally as my fill point, see how it all pans out.

Note you can also see the notches I put in my shock for the 19x11 wheels I run up front, I hit them with some paint afterwards and its holding up well.

nice that's a great way to add the volume and not try to fit under the crowded hood!

Yes,

I want to test it out in the heat of the summer but in October my IATs were cooler and recovering faster with this tank.

Can you post a picture of the bleeder hose on the top. I have the exact same tank. Also how did you route the hoses for the reservoir you have in the engine bay? Wanting to do something similar but with the adm reservoir

What are you thoughts on the DMS fender tank vs the Cordes tank you have on your current car?

Did you have any issues with fitment of the tank, or did the tank cause any alignment issues with the fender and door? I spoke with WillyZ83 about his tank and he had some alignment issues after installation. It looks like there is a little bit of a gap between the tank and fender in your pictures, but that could just be due to the picture and angle. Or maybe they revised the tank a little after the tank that WillyZ38 had. Just trying to decide between this tank and the Moroso tank but don't want to create any aesthetic issues along the way.

Now you need to get the TooHighPsi Port Injection, keep that 2300 and you'll be stellar. I love mine and my intake temps are already low, I have the bigger intercooler up front so mine stay right around 100 even on a hot day. When I'm drag racing on a low to mid 80s day my Iat's are generally about 120 in the stagging lanes and about the same before I start my burn out and 90 to 100 at the end of the run. I'd like to see what your Iat's are, I'm sure they are pretty low.

Looks like a straightforward install and might look into it in the future, any extra coolant moving thru the system is a plus. Nice job.
Where did you mount your coils?
