I used Zaino in the past.
Meg's HCW or TW seal & shine is way easier.

Like others have said ... if you dont have the time or means to detail/polish/wax then ceramic is ok. But on my car the polished approach looks way better and water spots are nowhere near as much an issue. Personally i absolutely love polishing and waxing my Hyperblue 2SS, its very satisfying!!

Hi, if you have the luxury of time to wash and apply sealant or wax...then don't do ceramic. It is still best to have a good polish and apply sealant and top it with premium carnauba. You can look into Soft 99 Fusso coat 12 months sealant and apply a Soft 99 King of Gloss as a topper.

Takes less time to do spray "ceramic" waxes every month than trying to polish off the water spots in humid climates.

I understand it's different strokes for different folks.

+1 for wish i didnt do the ceramic coating, I used CarPro cquartz. Its good stuff, it repels water over time, I think they maintenance spray (reload) does more. But yes once you get a scratch (it still scratches easy) you have to buff/polish the entire panel and recoat, I wish i just kept using Carnuba wax

I just use carpro hydro2foam + ech2o/reload for a qd spray. Work amazingly well, only lasts 2-3 months but is very easy to apply, you can use it as a carwash soap or diluted 10:1 wipe on a wet car and hose off.

The new turtle wax hybrid ceramic products look great and are cheap, I'll probably try that next, but the carpro stuff lasts so long since you dilute it it could be a few years, lol...

It was 100% worth it for me. My car looks like it was just waxed every time just from rinsing and air dry.

I live in Alberta, no humidity here and doesn't rain often. 330 days of sunshine per year. Water spots won't be an issue.

Shadow Gray Metallic 2SS, Ceramic Coated about 2 weeks after delivery, has been VERY easy to maintain, rinsing gets 80%+ of the dirt off (not that it ever gets very dirty, mainly dusty) and a leaf blower easily blows the large water droplets off and I can dry the entire car with 2 small, borderless ultra soft towels...

The car literally "glows" when it is clean...

I ended up coating all my cars because I was really happy with the results.
Similar experience as 2ss capt

It’s 9months in, and the Camaro is covered, but the dailys are getting beat in the salt and I’m still impressed.

i have a powerwasher with a cheapo foam cannon, and a electiric leaf blower. Good to go

To follow this up. I just bought another bottle to do the wife’s new daily.

The coating has been on my truck for almost 9 months. There was one spot I didn’t wipe off well enough when I put it on and the wife loved poking fun over it. It showed a little streaks. The amount of polishing to take it off was nuts. This coating seems like it would last 5 years minimum.

This truck is never in the garage and exposed to salt.
So I can’t understand how there’s people saying this exact coating didn’t last 6 months.

I did use the whole kit tho plus an iron remover.
Wiped with alcohol. Used the exact applicator and remover cloths specified

Or Rejex? That’s what I still have around. Used it on my son’s car with good results.
