NE Ohio checking in.

Just wanted to check in and say wassup to everyone. I'm not a huge car guy, as in I don't know all the intricacies of an engine or transmission but I love looking at cool cars. My love for Camaro's began as a kid. My Dad owned a '74 Z28 and eventually sold it as our family grew. To me, it was the coolest car and I hated that he missed it so much after selling it...

Fast forward to present day, I am finally in a position to buy my own Camaro now that my kids are grown and finances are freed up. 25 years of waiting!! I just submitted an order for a Summit White LT1 RS. This whole allocation thing is so frustrating as my dream has been to one day give my Dad a spin iny own Camaro. Unfortunately his health is failing and I'm afraid that I may not make it in time. Hoping Chevy picks up my build soon.

Anyway I'm thankful Camaro 5/6 exists so I can learn some things from all you gearheads that know so much more than me. It helps pass the time now that this NorthEast Ohio weather is turning and I wait for spring, (and a Camaro)!

Thanks for having me.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
