+1 on Mojave13's reco, the Heatshield product.
I've had them for the previous five vehicles I've owned -- including a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia II -- and they have all been so well-made and precisely cut, that my convertible is the first one for which I've actually had to use the suction cups. Why? Frameless windows, that's the only reason. Excellent customer service, too.

The best windshield sunscreen is one that covers the OUTSIDE of the windscreen, because once the heat gets through the screen, it's inside the car. So, I made my own. I went to a rubber store & bought a length of thin rubber, from the rolls they stock, then I simply cut it to shape of the windscreen with "tabs" at either end to slip into the door openings to keep it in place. I have one for the front & rear screens, works perfectly & keeps all the U.V., heat etc from damaging my trim.

I'm pleased with the one linked below. Good quality, stiff, and fits the windshield like a glove:

got this a few months ago and it's cut pretty well. it's relatively cheap compared to other ones that are cut specifically for the car

I have also used a pair of ovals in my other cars, super compact and fits in the pocket behind the seat.

1 year update The liner started disintegrating about a month ago. It was great while it lasted but I don't like dealing with the little white flakes it sheds every time I put it up or take it down. |
