E85 Kits - using EVAP vs COIL?

DSX uses the Coil
Wildhammer uses the Evap

Is anyone else worried about puling from the coil instead of the evap? I like DSX products a lot but don't like the idea of connecting into the coil for power instead of something else, like the evap. Esp with the addition of a 2 step that already has additional connectors in the system.

Can't really answer your question directly, but I am still using a kit that pulls power from a 12v source in the fuse block. I have read some say they don't like that method either unless it's hard wired, but I haven't had any issues at all with it.

possibly, but id rather have something tied into the evap than the coil. Plus i have msd 2 step which is already a piggy back into the coil system.

This isnt a load based sensor, it is a 0v-5v reference based sensor. So very little additional load onto the piggyback system.
