Yep, I’ve done that before. It’s a PITA on the title/ paperwork front, but I’ve saved $1500 on the front end once by borrowing $15k and paying it off right away... I don’t think I’m going to need to do that in this case. At least I hope not...

Also, I’ve got my credit frozen. Don’t have to sweat somebody stealing your identity if they can’t establish a line of credit

Sorry for a late response.
Just one example, I contacted one dealer as he had a 2019 brand new LE listed at 59,6. The dealer came back with an offer of 66,6.

I see they extended the 0% for 84 months, but I am assuming no discounts. I'd rather prefer a private party sale over a dealer too. I guess no rush, I can wait, this whole situation, and with economy in the whole, holding on to money is not a bad idea.

I’m still seeing many claim that they are getting around 62k out there door including taxes and dealer fees for the ZLE. How??? I’m getting 68-69k at best. I’d buy ZLE at 62 out the door TODAY. Attached is one of many comments I’ve seen on YouTube and various other places, including this forum.

Someone find me a 2019 ZLE for 62k out the door in blue, orange, or shock and I’ll Venmo you $500

I don't believe OTD. I do believe that was the sales price though. Last November and December it was possible to get $61K plus TTL for a 2019 ZLE A10. I paid $60,800 + TTL in December. That was 18% off MSRP (my target number). Had to shop nationwide. November seemed a lot easier than December to get that much off. Started wishing I had bought in November because of how much easier it seemed to find that level of discount. I waited until December thinking end of year would be even better. It wasn't. Keep in mind MOST dealers just laughed at me asking for that discount, ha! Don't blame them.

19 ZLE, SSGM, M6, PDR, exposes CF hood insert.

$60,111.

Deals are there, not easy to find/replicate, but season is extremely important.

ZLE were cheaper than ZL1, because who (in their right mind) would buy a car that you have to spend $1500 to change the tires on immediately, or just park it for several mo this until the weather improves? Plus-ZLE has stigma of rough on the street, better for track-but who buys a track car that they have to let sit for 4-6 months before you can track it? Obviously I was willing to make concessions to get just over $16k off the price of the car.

I'll repeat, the two best deals offered to me were on ZLE's. Could of bought either for roughly $62K. The reasoning was simple. When I checked autotrader there were more for sale than ZL1's.

HOWEVER, that was at the end of Feb before all this virus crap started. You can't expect to get discounts now that were offered in the winter. Sports cars sell slowly in the winter and better in the spring and summer.

All bets are off with pricing now. Factorys are shut down, most dealerships shut down their sales section.

If you can find the right car for a few thousand off, buy it. You could be driving it for 6 months before another car shows up to replace it.

Photorph, keep an eye on this blue manual ZLE. Price is still high now but being it’s a ‘19 it will likely be lower than the ‘20s. Needs to go down another $6k or so. Hopefully soon but then again the supply/demand might factor in. I think the current promos run ‘til 04/07.

And a ‘19 Shock manual

In march of of 2019. Jon Hall Chevrolet had Zl1 LE for 63k and a white Zl1 for 55k. Before tax. Thats was the best month I have seen since i started chasing one. From all the dealerships i have tried in the past few months they really dont seem to care if they sell their Zl1s. Even on the 2019.

OTD prices mean less than nothing, I have seen dudes brag about their OTD deal and you have to ask them to find out how much of it was trade in allowance. Plus taxes will vary by thousands depending on the state. Sales tax on a new car here in Oregon is half a percent and registration under $100. The catch with that is you’re generally subject to the sales tax for the state you register it in, not the state you buy it in.

It's an error, in the autotrader post it's listed as low 60s. When you go to their dealer website, the price is $67,750...which ends up being over 71k out the door. 9k more then what some people stated they got theirs for.

The first one is a error, it's listed as 67k if you go on their site and they won't budge much. If you have a mustang they can bring it down 2k more...but no where near lows or the 60k that some are claiming.

As for your 2nd ad, it's 65k with a lot of incentives factored in there that not everyone qualifies for. But even if they did do 65k that's still around 69k out the door. Higher than the posted prices, in fact someone above posted 60k as selling price.
