If it is then all the folks on here who buy headers and cams and tunes and throttle bodies are throwing away their money and all the dynos that show they increased HP and TQ are wrong.

No, I don't think it is maxed out from the factory. It might be maxed out in terms of street drive-ability coupled with performance.

In the 1st gen cars you could get something like 15 different engines from inline 6 cylinders to epic monster big blocks like the ZL-1. Imagine a LS model with a LT4 or LT5. That thing would be insane and a crazy sleeper!
They never bumped up the LS3 in the 5th gen because they were working on an all new 6th gen and LT1. But I concur that they should have tweaked the LT1 for 2020 after four years with this bullet. I also agree that they tend to follow the market with the exception of the Vette. They followed the F150 with a light duty crew cab truck in 2004 and they followed the Challenger with the Camaro in 2010.

There have been "hot" versions of the LS3 and LT1 for a while now. But I don't see any reason whatsoever for GM to increase the horsepower or torque ratings on any of the 6th gen Camaro's.

LT platform or not they could have changed a few things up very easily to have added 10-30hp without hardly breaking a sweat. Of course that would have mandated the LT1 be a 500hp+ engine.

And with the new rally green which is the color I wanted anyway, as its close to the dark green metallic that the 2015s had. Not avail. though with the 2017.I ended up with black which is cool but still liked the Green better. If Chevy had managed to bump the HP or Tq another 15 or so ticks I would be placing my order now for a 2020 SS 6 speed in rally Green. Was bumping the HP and Tq really too much to ask for the 6.2?
Why not add a CAI, a ported (or larger) TB, a ported manifold, E85, and a tune and add 25+ HP. a nuber you will feel and save yourself a TON of cash. Your SS will sound better and be not far off ZL1 M6 1/4 times. Your car is going off warranty in not to long anyway.

Pepperoni. Little Caesars. $5.34 for a large. It was actually really good and zero wait time.

I shall start a separate thread, 'Why I AM buying a 2019 Little Caesars (again).'

I think the A10 alone is better deal than than a 15 HP bump

what real difference would a few horsepower make in your enjoyment of the car? Its sounds more like you are just tired of black and really like the dark green color, and I think if thats the case, you should just go for it. The LT1 has enough power, are you really driving around thinking "if only this car had 15 more horsepower, THEN it would be perfect..."?
