Need help with vibration

Ok guys I really need some help chasing down an issue with my car. I will say upfromy I do have a cam so the regular cam lope is not what im tslking about. It started about 3 weeks ago i was driving on 476N when i hit a raise or a pot hole that i didnt see coming. Since then the car has had avibration almost shuddering thst you can feel as low as 12 mph and its worse at 60mph. Ive had my chevy dealer check the car. They said no bent rims and they did rebalance the front left and rear right tires. They checked the suspension and the rear axle etc and said everything looked fine but the problem is still here. Idk what to do i want my car to be normal again ive barely driven it in a month.

Might have to replace the tires you could have damaged a belt! Find a shop that does on the car wheel balancing. There is a shop in Ocean NJ Bodymotion I have herd there very good at that stuff.....

Alignment possibly, but I would imagine that the dealer would be smart enough to check that. Might have bent something else. Seems you are not sure about what exactly you hit. Do you have an auto or manual?

I have a manual i was just talking to a friend and he also said possibly a bad tire belt, either thst or a bent strut but this feels very rotational to me. Almost as if the car is raising and lowering when it happems

Vibration coming and going and at different speeds is usually a balance issue. Some shops can't balance tires very well. Tire could also be damaged on the inside or the wheel could be bent. A bent wheel can almost be balanced to work with a lot of wheel weights. Not a good idea but I have seen it more than once.

Anyone live close enough they can let me switch for their wheel and tire foror a mile or so i can tell very quickly if thst is the issue.

Too many factors to make guessing games. One quick recommendation is if you have a spare set of tires you can swap them out to knock out the wheels from the equation. My wifes car use to shake a lot as she gets higher in speeds. Everyone said wheels are fine, tranny is fine, suspension, everything. Turns out after swapping out her aftermarket wheels for stock the problem is gone. Bent rims are hard to pinpoint if it's not obvious.

I hit a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom hole on the interstate at 70 MPH. I was about 15 miles from home. The rest of the trip was like sitting on an out of balance washing machine. It bent the rim and ruined the run flat tire. Total cost to replace both was $917

To the OP, what you are describing seems to be speed related. Most of the time this is wheels or tires. As mentioned prior, could be a shifted belt in a tire and all will visually appear fine.

So wanted to update, took the car in again today, to tell them It has to be the tire etc, and for the 3rd time this week they found the front tire out of balance. I said seriously what more do we need to tell us it has to be the tire. So they are replacing it and well see what happens.

Have someone that knows how to use a damn run out gage check the rims for being bent - easy to do on the car using a simple floor jack - if they are not then consider a belt in the tire has separated internally
