18” OEM rims?

Hi! I need a set of OEM tires with more tire less rim for the coming winter. I have the 20” on my LT RS right now, but they are too big for winter.

I can’t seem to find any 18” on the official website: https://accessories.chevrolet.com/se...nts?sortId=top

Any recommendations?

Thank you!

I tried running the base model Camaro LS 18” rims on my SS. They bolted up perfectly fine but I did have rubbing issues with the brake air dam. When the wheel was in full lock, you could hear a click. I did sell the wheels but from my experience, there was no issues. They bolted right up. Since you have the RS package I believe you would be fine. No spacers needed or any other sort of modifications needed.

Try speaking to someone at tire rack, i bought a set off a person from these forums and they got a really good set from tire rack with help from speaking to the people. They have worked flawlessly this past winter in NJ

Have you already looked at the members classified? You didn't say.

It is already known that the stock 18 will have a problem on the SS cars due to the larger Brembo caliper.

The OEM 18" rims rubbed for me too. Switching to different wheel weights solved the issue.

I have a 19" set for sale. Worked great on my 2018 SS.

The rim had no issue rubbing on the caliper. It’s the little plastic air duct behind the caliper that it was rubbing on.

I found mine in Facebook market place. The rims are out there, you just have to look hard for them.

As others have said, it's the not calipers that cause the issue, it's the plastic brake cooling piece.

I have the factory 18s and all seasons to run on my 1LE once the temps drop. They do not touch the six piston Brembos at all. Even with the thinnest wheel weights I did have some catching/rubbing on the plastic on a full turn. I took a file and removed about 1/8-1/4 inch off the plastic in a 1-2 inch area on each side. It took some trial and error. If I did it again, I'd just use a Dremel.

I found mine with the tires in almost new condition for $500 on Facebook Marketplace. If you search long enough, you will find them around the same price or lower. The $400 listing in the classifieds looks like a great deal.

You realize changing the wheel diameter changes the speedometer readings and if you have a auto car it changes the shift points! unless you have it re tuned.

I don't think that changing to 18" wheels will change the diameter much if you get the correct tires.
