A Vette...C7 or C8

or Gen 6 ZLI

or maybe a 640hp Caddy ATSV or a 556hp CTSV

Lots of nice alternatives maybe even non GM like Dodge Challenger Hell Kitty in Plum Crazy.

I traded in my '11 SS on a C7 GS a few years ago and I've loved every minute of it. My SS was a sledgehammer, the GS is a surgeon's scalpel.

Probably replace it with something like this...a nice 1966 Chevelle driver...or a Convertible Chevelle...resto-mods would be preferable...

1966, my favorite year for Chevelle...

New Redeye or GT500.
I did just that selling the ZL1 and a few months later buying a new Redeye. $11.5k under msrp. The shelbys were a bit too much $$$ to justify and marked up with no discounts in sight.
Couldnt be happier with the Redeye! I was also lucky to be able to sell the ZL1 to a local dealership for the same price I bought it for 3 months prior. I hadnt even made a payment yet due the covid 3 month payment deferment. I essentially lost nothing but got to experience the ZL1. The ZL1 was a great car, just not for me

I will aspire to own another Camaro if they put that 5.5L FPC in it and offer with a manual.

The front-end bite and lower center of gravity is what gives the Corvette's a much more scalpel feel. If only the rear-end of the C7 was as good as the Alpha chassis's was.

The C8 Z06 will offer both. THAT is going to be the sweet spot.

It is the front-end bite, lower center of gravity, mag ride, better & wider tires AND the fact that my GS weighs ~800lbs. less than my 5th Gen. I'm going to keep it for a while and in a few years, I want to see what the C8 Z06 brings to the table.

Yep, and the only performance upgrade will be an extra-long extension cord.

Instead of a cam swap for more power you will do a battery hack

Then after 3,000 or so miles it will catch fire
