V6 rear end gear change with M6 trans

Anybody have experience changing out the V6 stock rear 3:27 to the SS 3:73 rear? “Back in the day.....” would do this to pick up some quickness but not sure what is entailed in today’s Camaro (just ordered 2021 3LT RS) for a change out? Rather simple 40 years ago, just needed to change the speedo gear too in the M21 and off you went! Wondering what all would be involved doing it with today’s technology, thanks in advance!

I’ve only seen people change their 2.77 gears to 3.27 but I’m sure you can do the 3.73. The only issue would be plugging the cooler line holes and you’d have to get it tuned. I’ve only seen people change the speedo and call it if they were changing from non-LSD to LSD and keeping the same gears

Getting ready to do the switch. Most are not changing the ring and pinion. Switch the pumpkin or the entire cradle. Cradle is less work. Neither is hard if you are set up for it.

I have a 2.0 manual and swapped my 3.27 to a SS 3.73. The base models don't have cooling lines. They are identical and direct swap. I expect the same for v6 without HD cooling package. If equipped with cooling package then may need the diff with cooling lines.. otherwise it is a direct swap and only need to swap the axle flanges out if not doing the SS axles. also.
