After seeing these pics it's funny to see how Camaro these cars are...
When meeting these guys at the ny auto show they were trying to deny that they had much of anything from Camaros. They were like they don't start as camaros they are alpha. We get them as alpha chassis. Doesn't look that way in the pics Cool cars tho |

Certainly, they start as finished Camaros, I don't think the TAD guys would deny that. But, they have more non-Camaro parts on them then any Trans Ams that came before them, especially considering the t-tops and the optional engines. I believe the only exterior parts that remain from the stock Camaros are the doors.

They did deny it to me. They were like "they start off as a alpha chassis." After I was like I have a 6th gen Camaro they were like it's not even close to similar and the ats is a alpha too. Trying to make it sound like they weren't starting with camaros at all.
They did seem quality and very well done |

My car will be appearing in Wisconsin at a car show next week, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Firebird.
http://iolaoldcarshow.com/ Anyone nearby can check it out (and post some pics so I can see it!). I expect it back in my garage by end of July. |

I need to decide between the snowflake wheels in the video (same as my 2013 TA) or these new wheels.

The honeycomb wheels on page 5 are pure T/A Why go with anything other than them? They look stunning on a black Trans especially.

Not digging those wheels Scott. I thinks it's the silver center that's throwing the look off.
+1 for the snowflake ones. Looking forward to you showing the car off when you get it back.

Thanks for the thoughts. Here is a better video walkaround from NY (I am going back to the stock Kalahari leather with TA touches instead of the interior in the video).

From Iola Car Show. For sure, the snowflake wheels will be the way to go.

Quick update on the Trans Am. Snowflake wheels are back on, Kalahari interior back in, but with TA stitching (I don't prefer their leather package). Also, I decided to upgrade from the stickers to fully painted graphics. Finally, they have some final generation parts in the works that I decided to wait for and now will allow them to take the 100 percent completed car to SEMA in October, after which the car will be shipped to me for good. More waiting, but will be worth it.
