1 12 inch sub or 2 10 inch subs?

So should i get one 1 12 inch or 2 10 inch subs to put in the back of my camaro?? I've been looking around for a nice setup one place is charging me 1173.88 to install a custom trunk with a amp rack dynamat the whole trunk, 2 kicker CVR10's, what do u guys think i was thinking of switching the subs to JBL or Kenwood subs tho.

you would get better feedback if you post in the audio/video forum, there is tons of info on systems, with knowledgable people to answere your ?'s.

i have the two kicker CVR10's the C stands for Competition series and its a very hard hitting sub when ligned up with the right amp mine sound great and i didnt even have to dynomat my trunk and they hit the high and low notes as compared to any 12 inch sub the only hit the low notes and therefore you would more than likely need the dynomat and i would buy off the internet and have them install them and i bet you would save 4-5 hundred..

heres a pic of my setup the amp is hidden behind the carpet on the passenger side which makes for a really clean setup!!

JL audios stealthbox 3 10" subs!! They are the shit and take up minimal space cuz they are specifically designed for the car they are made for

1 12 if you want just a bass enhancement to still enjoy the music if you want just LOUD BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMS i say 2 10's, thats just my opinion i got a e-type aline 12 inch with a 2000 watt amp and couldnt be happier

Go with the 10's. Save some cash and you'll have 20 inches of speaker surface area instead of 12. Also 10's are quicker hitting which is great if you listen to music with a fast paced bass such as Rock. I'd go with the 10's

not on the inside it might rattle the trunk lid a little bit but thats all and its a pro box not sure what size it is but its small and very lighweight and my amp is a 2 way rockford phosgate punch 400whatt
