Need some transmission help

Is there anybody here familiar with the tr6060 that comes on the 2016 camaro ss. I pulled the bellhousing off not knowing it was a integregated bellhousing. I put it on and the something just isn’t right. The shifter is sloppy and probably not even in the right gear. I’m clueless here

Could you be pinching any wires or the clutch slave line or vent lines anywhere? Are you sure you aligned the input shaft into the pilot bearing correctly? It could be a whole lot...

The engine is still out of the car. I’m just putting the bellhousing back on to the transmission itself. I’m able to get it on but the problem I’m having now is that the shifter feels good but won’t go into neutral or 4th gear so now I’m at a lost.

A guess here, but it may require some rotation of the input shaft to allow the gears and synchros to become more aligned. I can think of cases in my past where i tried to row gears on a non running car and certain gears were blocked. Once the input shaft rotates by starting the car, the gears/synchros would align better and mesh.

No clue if this is the case, just throwing out a wild guess. I could see this happening if you get perfect MIS-alignment of the synchros.

Did you make sure the trans and shifter were in neutral before putting it back on. Do a google search on how to install a shifter on the Tremec 6060 there is a specific order on how to install. I don't see the bell housing having anything to do with the shifter working properly.
